Patnitop
Perched on a hilltop at an altitude of 2024m, Patnitop offers overwhelming view of the Shivalik Range. One must visit Gourikund and the holy KailashParvat. A leisure walk to the Pine forest is ideal for the nature lovers. Enjoy trekking at Shivgarh and paragliding, abseiling (rappelling), rock climbing and camping at Sanasar. At a little distance from Patnitop, there is a village called Kud that is famed for vivid varieties of sweets, make sure that you try some of it and take it back home as a memoir of Patnitop.

Udhampur
Named after Raja Udham Singh, Udhampur city is set amidst lush green surroundings and fringed by eucalyptus trees, A delight for history lovers, the city offers many relics dating back to the time of epic of Mahabharata. The Krimachi group of temples are the oldest structures in the city. Udhampur is also famous for the underground river Devika, which is considered the sister of Ganga.

Pahalgam

Kupwara

Sonamarg

Gulmarg
Skiers’ paradise, Gulmargis known as meadow of Flowers. Along with skiing , trekking, snowboarding, golfing, mount biking and fishing are the prime options that Gulmarg overwhelms you with. AvisitKongdori, Shark Fin and Apparwath Peak has to be visited to witness the splendid natural landscape. The beautiful Pangong Lake has become a popular place to visit in Jammu & Kashmir after it was featured in the bollywood blockbuster 3 Idiot. India’s coldest and world’s second coldest place, Drass is situated 60kms away from Kargil. Drass is also dubbed as the Gateway to Ladakh. The best time to visit here is during spring and summers, when the snow melts and the greenery returns. Visit the Drass war memorial, which is also known as Kargil war memorial. Drass is also a base for a trek to beautiful Suru Valley.

Nubra Valley
Exotic Nubra Valley is situated where River Shyok and River Siachen meet. It is an absolute surprise to spot a desert Hunder in Ladakh! One can enjoy ride on the Bactrian camels. Also you have to pass through Khardung La, which is one of the highest motorable roads in the world. Ensa, Samstemling, Diskit and Hunder monasteries are also worth visiting here.

Zanskar
